I am happy to have known "Kate" ... my next door neighbor and friend. Many have been the days that I have spent time talking with her over the fence about "stuff". Your Mom had many, many opinions and was usually pretty much up on the relative information. At the Mass, Beth spoke of #9. Yeah, the lights and yeah, the fire department. Do you remember the bell she rang for the Ryan kids to get home? Do you remember the whistle my Mom used to get the Agresti kids home? Remember the hot chocolate they made for us? Your Mom and Dad were wonderful people. Although I forgot, I was supposed to tell you that my sister Agnes coudn't come because she's been down with Flu and didn't want to share it with you all. She wanted me to pass along her condolences and wanted you to know that she will offer prayers for you Mom. "Kate" will be missed by those of us on Benson Ave ... more so, now, than to date since she moved.
