To the Maiorisi family. I was so saddened to hear of Richard's death. As president of a large physician organization, I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Richard quite well during his time at Blue Cross. I can't recall a nicer and more ethical person that I have worked with than Richard. He was just a great guy. He turned what could have been difficult and contentious discussions into honest, productive and friendly negotiations. It must be such a loss for you. I will never forget him.
